Where Are You Located?
As stated above, we are conveniently located at 243 Central Ave in Medford, MA right off the Fellsway. We serve clients from Medford, Malden, Melrose, Arlington, Somerville and more.
Our hours of operation are as follows:
Monday-Friday 2pm-8:30pm
Saturdays 9am-4pm
What Does LB Music School Medford Teach?
Our Medford music school offers lessons in - singing, violin, cello, piano, guitar, bass, drums, and ukulele. Since we are not franchised owned, our lessons are highly customizable.
I have taught thousands of students over the years and a one-size fits all program doesn’t work for most. This is why I emphasize with my teachers to find the music that truly makes their students come alive and want to practice.
What Age Can My Child Start Lessons?
At our Medford location, we do have options for students as young as 4 years old to take lessons. The options for younger students ages 4-6 would typically be piano, ukulele and violin. Once a child reaches the age of 7, they can really dive into any of our instruments.
These age ranges are a guideline and we understand that there are always exceptions to these rules. If you feel your 4-year-old is ready, we are more than happy to do a trial lesson with a teacher to make sure it would be a good fit.
Can Adults Take Lessons at LB Music School?
Absolutely!!! We love our adult students. As a matter of fact, about 30% of our student body consists of adults following their dreams to finally learn music. If you have always dreamed up learning to play and instrument of sing, we want to help!
Are Beginners Welcome?
Again, yes!!! I would say about 90% of the students the inquire with us are absolute beginners who have never touched an instrument before. If you are looking for more intermediate or advanced lessons, that’s not a problem as all of our faculty members are highly experienced. Mainly are working professionals that perform on the weekend.
How Much Do Music Lessons Cost?
At LB Music School, we know you have a budget, and we want to be up front about the cost of taking music lessons with us. Being a music teacher myself, I believe in paying our teachers well which helps us attracts some of the best talent in the area.
Private lesson pricing is as follows:
